Construction Begins at Huguenot Estate

We are pleased to share an exciting milestone in the development of Huguenot Estate, one of the newest secure residential estates in Paarl.

This week, Boland Estates, the developer of Huguenot Estate, officially appointed Amandla Construction as the civil engineering contractor responsible for installing the estate’s infrastructure. The official site handover took place on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, marking the beginning of visible progress on this new property development in the Paarl Winelands.

Civil Engineering Construction Begins

Over the coming weeks, Amandla Construction will begin site establishment and the installation of essential civil engineering services at Huguenot Estate.

This work includes the development of:

  • Internal estate roads
  • Stormwater systems
  • Sewer infrastructure
  • Water supply services
  • Electrical services
  • The new access road connecting Huguenot Estate to the municipal road network in Paarl

These critical infrastructure works are an important step in transforming the vision of Huguenot Estate Paarl into a fully serviced residential community.

Development Timeline for Huguenot Estate

The civil services installation programme is expected to run from March 2026 to approximately September/October 2026.

Once the infrastructure has been completed, it will be inspected and approved by Drakenstein Municipality. Following municipal approval, the transfer of the first residential stands at Huguenot Estate is expected to begin around November 2026.

Construction of the first homes within the estate may begin toward the end of 2026, with the majority of residential construction anticipated to commence from January 2027 onwards.
